The CHOKE operates with the generator to provide filtered, regulated voltage to the critical load.
Base frame ISOLATION DAMPERS insulate the building from engine vibrations
The INDUCTION COUPLING shares kinetic energy necessary to support the load between the loss of the utility supply and the start of diesel. It also allows the UPS to maintain critical frequency specification during diesel operations.
When a utility failure is detected, the DIESEL ENGINE starts automatically. Together with the stored energy of the induction coupling, the diesel provides an uninterrupted supply of power to the load.
When the diesel accelerates to synchronous speed, the FREEWHEEL CLUTCH automatically connects it to the induction coupling/generator system.
When utility power is available, the GENERATOR regulates the output voltage, filters harmonics, and corrects the load power factor. When the utility supply fails, it generates clean, continuous power for your load.
